With credits that include collaborations with artists such as Prince, Eurythmics’ Dave Stewart, Glee, and most recently special guest appearances on American Idol, bassist, singer, and songwriter Nik West is everything more than just another pretty face.

West’s musical journey began in her hometown of Phoenix, AZ. Music was not the only area in which she excelled. This straight A student in high school was also an accomplished runway and print model as well as a track & field State record holder. She's so passionate about calculus that she has a blog dedicated to her love for it. Much to the chagrin of the multiple universities that offered her scholarships for her mind and athletic acumen, West chose music as her career path.

Nik graced the pages of Bass Player Magazine with long-time Daft Punk collaborator and bassist Nathan East. She has also appeared on the covers of American Musical, iBass Magazine, Bassiste Magazine, Muzikus Magazine, Bass Musician Magazine, Image and Style Magazine, Bass Quarterly Germany, and has been featured in numerous publications for Teen Vogue, Rolling Stone, Afropunk, Bass Player Magazine, Fender, Bass Magazine Japan, and more.
